DESCRIPTION
A 70-bed behavioral health hospital, unit of Princeton HealthCare System, offering inpatient and outpatient treatment for adults, children and families with psychiatric and addictive illnesses. Addiction services are 12-step focused. Additional outpatient facilities in Princeton, No. Brunswick, Hamilton, and Cherry Hill. Approved by Medicare, Medicaid, participating HMOs and most major insurance carriers. Licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health.

PROGRAMS
Senior Link - Older Adult Partial (Day) Hospital: Program which offers intensive psychiatric treatment to seniors living in the Princeton area not requiring inpatient hospitalization. Operates MON-FRI, at least 3 days per week. Groups include stress management, recreation therapy, creative expression, etc. Hot lunch provided; free transportation available. Staff includes therapist, psychiatrist, nurses. Fees paid in part by Medicare and other insurance; balance on sliding scale. Contact Admissions, 609-497-3343. Adult Intensive Day Program - Partial Hospitalization: Program which offers intensive psychiatric treatment to adults living in the Princeton area not requiring inpatient care. Operates MON-FRI, 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM, hot lunch provided; transportation available. At least 4 groups and individual therapy scheduled daily, with the amount of days based on individual need. Staff includes board-certified psychiatrists, creative arts therapists, occupational therapist, clinical psychologists, LCSWs and RNs. Contact Admissions, 609-497-3343. Dual Diagnosis Partial Hospitalization: Same program as Adult Intensive Day Program (above), except for its additional focus on the addiction issues commonly experienced by those with psychiatric issues. Women's Trauma and Women's Trauma and Addiction Programs: Inpatient and outpatient, group and individual therapy for women who have had a history of trauma and/or are dealing with issues of codependency, addiction recovery, trauma survival, eating disorders, life transition adjustment, conflict resolution in relationships, etc. Jeanne Cantrell, PhD, Director - 609-497-3361; Inpatient - 609-497-3355.
Women's Wellness Program: a program for women experiencing symptoms of depression or anxiety, brought about or worsened by life stressors of particular importance to women. Jeanne Cantrell, PhD, Director - 609-497-3361.
Eating Disorders Program: An inpatient unit located at Medical Center at Princeton. A program which provides a comprehensive treatment program for patients suffering from anorexia, bulimia, and other eating disorders. It includes a support group for family and friends of people with eating disorders. Program Director, Dr. Mindy Parisi, 609-497-6828.
Adolescent Addiction Recovery Program: Inpatient unit at Medical Center at Princeton. Treats patients ages 13-18 with primary substance abuse diagnosis. Intensive short term care, based on the 12-step Orientation. Program. Director, Iris Perlstein, 609-497-3375.

Day Treatment Programs: Available for individuals with persistent mental illness and substance abuse problems. Call 609-497-3343 for more information.
An informal support group for people coping with the recent loss of a loved one. A one-time group meeting offers the opportunity to talk with a professional bereavement counselor, an introduction to the support group setting, and information on comunity resources. Sessions are provided for all residents of Mercer, Burlington, Camden or Gloucester counties.
