DESCRIPTION
A non-profit agency which provides a broad spectrum of mental health services. Staff includes social workers, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, certified substance abuse counselors, special education teachers, and certified financial counselors. Branch offices in Hamilton and Trenton. Fees based on ability to pay. Approved for Medicaid, Medicare and medical insurance. Licensed by the New Jersey Department of Mental Health.

Family Preservation Services (FPS): Intensive, community based program which provides in-home family education and crisis intervention to families with children at risk of out-of-home placement. Call 609-393-1626.

Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Central NJ: Program approved by the New Jersey State Department of Banking and Insurance.Provides advice on how to handle money and reduce or eliminate debt. Debt Management Program: Bankruptcy counseling and certificate, home-buyers education and First Homebuyers certificate, foreclosure counseling and prevention. HUD certified.
