DESCRIPTION
A local chapter of SAGA (Smocking Arts Guild of America) whose purpose is to preserve and foster the art of smocking and related needlework through education, communication, and quality workmanship.

PROGRAMS
Yearly goal is to have each member smock and finish 3 preemie gowns by Jan. meeting at Victorian Tea. Administrators from Capital Health Systems-Mercer/Helene Fuld receive the gowns for their bereavement program.

Monthly programs have featured "Silk Ribbon Embroidery", "Machine Heirloom Sewing", and "Smocking", cookie swaps, teas, learning to smock and use a pleater
