DESCRIPTION
A center for international students, visiting scholars and their families which offers them a sense of community and ushers them into the American way of life. It is also a clearinghouse of information and an outreach center which taps the diverse cultural resources of Princeton University's international members and makes them available to the community at large.

SERVICES
Provides social and cultural interaction for Princeton University students both foreign and native born, and opportunities for students to interact with the surrounding communities
Provides English language tutoring by volunteers for Princeton University foreign newcomers
Provides speakers on intercultural and international issues to local schools and organizations
Organizes cultural programs

PROGRAMS
Host Program: Opportunity for Princeton University's foreign students and visiting scholars to find a home away from home; local families involve them in day trips, holiday celebrations, etc. Contact: Hanna Hand, 258-1170; e-mail hhand@princeton.edu

English Conversation Partnership Program: Program for foreign newcomers to develop their competence in English by engaging in everyday conversation on a weekly basis. Contact Mo Chen, 609-275-9486.

Friends of the International Center: An organization which supports, supplies volunteers, and raises funds for the International Center. The group has its own board and is responsible for the Host Program, the English Conversation Partnership Program, and other events and programs. Anne Bolick, President, 609-737-6471.
