DESCRIPTION
The local chapter of a national not-for-profit organization offering support and encouragement to women who have left the paid workforce to raise their children at home, women dealing with transitions between paid employment and at-home motherhood, or women who are jointly pursuing professional goals and family life. It advocates for choice in how one combines working and parenting.

PROGRAMS
Activities include play groups, community service, book group, mothers'-nights-out and statewide conferences. Recent programs have included facilitated discussions, and speakers presenting topics such as "Ask the Pediatrician", "the Importance of Family Rituals and Traditions", and "How to Choose a Preschool".

First Wednesday evening, each month, at Steinert High School.

DESCRIPTION
A non-profit support club for the mothers of twins, triplets and other higher-order births. The club's aim is to provide members with discussions, educational programs, and social activities that address the special concerns of parenting multiples.

PROGRAMS
In addition to regular meetings, the club has baby/toddler playdates, Mom's Night Out, Family get-togethers, picnics, and sale and re-sale exchanges.
