DESCRIPTION
A multi-service agency offering shelter, counseling, referrals, recreation, life-skills education, crisis intervention, outreach, transitional housing and other services to at-risk, homeless, runaway, throwaway, abused and other youth and their famlies.

PROGRAMS
Anchorage: Transitional living program for young people ages 18-22 working their way into society. Long-term support includes life-skill building, employment services and educational services.
Anchor House Foundation: Fund-raising arm of Anchor House which sponsors the annual Ride for Runaways. 609-278-9495.
Street Outreach: A program serving youth ages 10-21 that aims at street youth offering a variety of life-saving services, such as assistance finding safe housing, counseling, assistance for youth trying to get back into school, food pantry referrals, employment assistance and various other services.
School Outreach: A counselor is available to all Mercer County Junior High and High Schools to conduct individual, group and family counseling with students and their families. A counselor is also available for presentations, career days and community days.
Runaway Specialist: A counselor based in the Trenton Police Department who receives all youth missing person reports and provides referrals, aftercare, counseling and other services ongoing for a minimum of a year.
Angel's Wings: A facility offering emergency care for children from birth to 12.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Ride for Runaways: Annual summer event in which bicyclists collect pledges for a 500-mile ride to help raise funds; monetary and other types of contributions are made by corporate sponsors and local businesses as well.
Cory Golis Scholarship Ride: Annual summer event in which bicyclists pay a small fee for a 20 or 50 mile bike ride to help raise funds for the Cory Golis Scholarship Fund.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Cory Golis/Anchor House Scholarship Fund is available annually to youth who have been involved at Anchor House and who are taking up a helping profession.
