DESCRIPTION
A government agency, administered through the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, which enforces the New Jersey Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Law (Chapter 251), a state regulation which is designed to protect New Jersey's water quality by preventing erosion from polluting surface water.

Assunpink Environmental Institute, Inc.: A non-profit organization established by the Mercer County Soil Conservation District to further environmental education and research focusing on cost effective solutions to present environmental concerns for the residents of central New Jersey.

NJ Envirothon: Annual competition that challenges the environmental knowledge of NJ high school students in a unique outdoor setting.
