DESCRIPTION
The local chapter of an international organization which promotes international understanding, primarily through the exchange of secondary school students ages 16-18. It coordinates all travel and hosting, and assures the efficacy of the entire experience. The Greater Princeton chapter serves seven high schools in the area, and offers summer or year-long study and homestay programs in 60 countries abroad.
PROGRAMS
Four to six general meetings are held throughout the year. Presentations are given each fall to recruit host families and identify students who are interested in traveling abroad. The chapter is involved with the selection/ qualification process, fundraising, counseling and coordination.

Joan S. Nielsen Scholarship awarded to a qualified Princeton area high school student for a year's study abroad in one of about 40 countries
