DESCRIPTION
The local chapter of a national organization, which presents five or six public lectures each academic year on current developments in archaeology of all places and periods; opportunities are provided to meet other interested individuals and discuss issues with the speakers. Lectures are open to anyone who is interested; however, attendees are encouraged to join the national organization of the Archaeological Institute of America
MEETING PLACE
010 East Pyne Hall, Princeton University, Princeton, NJ. Lectures, followed by a reception, are open to the public, although attendees are encouraged to join the national organization.
MEETING TIME
TUES. OCT-DEC, MAR-MAY; 5:30 PM. Lecture dates are advertised in local newspapers; members receive reminder mailings.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership in the national society is recommended. Lectures are open to anyone interested.
FEES/DUES
$15 for local organization. However, anyone is welcome to attend lectures.
