DESCRIPTION
A non-profit fund-raising arm of the Medical Center. Members volunteer time and expertise to programs whose proceeds help to keep the Medical Center at the leading edge of medical science.

Baby photographs - New parents

PROGRAMS
Special Event: All-day June Fete held at Princeton University Stadium in Princeton to raise funds for the Medical Center and promote community spirit and involvement. Includes the Fete Annual 10K Race, Auction, Art Tent (with local artists' works for sale), Lane of Shops, Flea Market, games, amusements for children, bands and other entertainment and a wide variety of food and beverages.

Gift Shop: Fully-stocked store on the ground floor of the Medical Center organized and staffed by in-service volunteers. Features seasonal and holiday gifts, flowers, magazines, candy, etc.

Art Exhibits: Year-round shows featuring original work of regional artists; displayed at Merwick and the Medical Center dining room. Wine & cheese receptions held for each show.

Medical Families for UMCP (University Medical Center at Princeton): Group made up of spouses of physicians and dentists affiliated with the UMCP. Meets twice per year; sponsors the Strawberry Patch food booth at the Fete.

Regular - $10 per year; Contributing - $50; Supporting - $100; Sponsor - $500. All of these monies used for the Junior Merit Award

SPECIAL EVENTS
White Elephant Rummage Sale - a 2-day rummage sale held in October at University Medical Center parking garage
A November Night: Fund raising dinner dance with live and silent auction items, held in November.
Annual meeting - in January for entire membership which includes election of new officers
ArtFirst! - an international juried exhibition and sale of art and fine crafts by professional artists with physical and mental disabilities.

SCHOLARSHIPS
The Edna M. Wilson Junior Volunteer Merit Awards reward graduating High School seniors who have logged a minimum of 250 hours or 24 months of volunteer service to the UMCP.
