A non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular disease and stroke, through the promotion of study, dissemination and application of knowledge concerning causes, treatment and prevention.

PROGRAMS
Schoolsite Program: Heart Power! (Pre-K through 8th grade) Program that motivates children to learn how to keep their heart healthy for a lifetime.

Worksite Program: Program geared towards adults in the workplace, which promotes a heart-healthy lifestyle and education.

Healthsite Program: A similar program geared toward health care professionals.

Speakers Bureau: A program which provides speakers--physicians, nurses, dietitians and other health care professionals--who are leaders in the heart health care field to local community groups, schools, and worksites.

PUBLICATIONS
Numerous educational pamphlets, booklets and other forms of written educational materials, including cookbooks.
