Meet our Performers
Kenn Kweder is a Philadelphia music legend. He came on the scene in the 1970's and quickly developed a loyal following. Kenn spent much of the 1980's touring and living in Europe where years earlier he had sung in the streets. Recharged, Kenn returned to Philadelphia where he resumed in earnest working closely with many other talented musicians including singer-songwriter Ben Vaughn. Kenn continues his musical career today not only performing but producing and inspiring many other artists. This is Kenn's second appearance at "The Princeton Children's Book Festival". |
Miss Amy is a spirited and lively singer/songwriter who grew up in Kansas. Delighting multitudes of children and adults with her live shows, she has appeared at venues through-out the central New Jersey and Philadelphia area, including World Cafe Live, the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts, McCarter Theatre and major NJ state funded special events. Miss Amy has won wide acclaim for family entertainment by fostering children’s imaginations through her music. |
The Kaleidoscope Band Alex Mitnick performs with the full band including drums, percussion, bass, and special guest Natalie Merritt singing and leading dances for the children. Concertsare lively and engaging and always include music from Africa and South America, fun sing-a-longs and all of your favorite Kaleidoscope Songs. Alex’s sensitivity, humor, and ability to connect with adults and children alike will make this appearance at the "Princeton Children's Book Festival" unforgettable! |
