Let's talk politics
Talking about politics can evoke heated passion, although, if you watched last week's presidential debate, you might say that it could also lead to a mind-numbing headache. If you're looking for a stimulating forum to discuss the current political climate, we have the group for you. Join us on Wednesday night at 7:30 for Talking Politics, a book group led by professor and TV30 host and producer Joan Goldstein. This week's discussion focuses on "The Real Romney." Written by investigative reporters Michael Kranish and Scott Helman, it's a riveting, no-holds barred biography of the presidential candidate.
Can't make it this week? The group meets again on Nov. 14 for "Reckless Endangerment: How Outsized Ambition, Greed and Corruption Created the Worst Financial Crisis of Our Time" by Gretchen Morgenson and Joshua Rosner.
